As a West Coast photographer, I am surrounded by diversity and natural beauty. I live within walking distance of the ocean, the railway tracks, and First Nations land. Quaint cottages, nail salons and vape shops stand side by side with music studios, restaurants, small art galleries and looming new high-rises.This tiny city where I live (pop. 24 000), and its burgeoning surrounds, present an infinite, changing vista for the photographer's eye. Looking through the lens, I am at one with my camera. At times, the combination of the light, the subject and the moment cause the world to stop. It is then that I believe that a quality of grace infuses my photography and the world I photograph.
The composition of these images brings to mind a range of photographers and artists for me, including Gabriel Orozco's collection works and Andreas Gursky's large scale landscapes and interiors, to the young artist Ryan Oskin's sculptural photographic installation. This work feels ripe for exhibition…having sound and time lapse video is a smart, strategic decision.
- Lens Culture Project Review
I believe that at times Linda’s photography comes close to impressionistic art. Beautiful sense of colour and mystic images. Documentarian of where she lives.

The triptych of shimmering water photos is a joy to have in my home. It captures the feeling of looking into shallow waters: the various depths, the movement, and the light. It is both peaceful and refreshing.
- Barbara McDonald, Artist and Potter
Linda is a purely creative soul with an endless fountain of original thinking. She is able to transition her ideas in unique and very thought-provoking ways into compelling works of art. Her subtle and sometimes evocative images, are both absorbing and a visual pleasure.

Bickerton-Ross utilizes slow exposures and other manipulation to create dreamlike, semi-abstract scenes offering a new perspective on familiar landscapes.
